Install this program using Install script supplied with the archive.
Script requires Commodore's Installer program which can be found
in your WB installer disk (also with MUI distribution archive).
Installing 3.5b on top of 3.5 or 3.5a versions:
Copy executables and EPLs to same directories you already have
them.
Installing 3.5x on top of pre-3.5 versions or installing DASMP for
the first time:
4 following lines are for pre-3.5 version users.
Please run retypelist.drx arexx script to all your lists (Meaning
that load for example list1 and run the arexx script and save the
list and then clear it. Do the same for all your lists if you are
using more than one list).
Note that if you are using pre 3.3 versions, you have to Convert
lists with provided converter in misc drawer.
3.5 Installation. (For people refusing to use Installer)
Create "dasmp" directory to you envarc: and env:.
Delete dasmp.extlib file from ENV: & ENVARC:. (YES, *d e l e t e* it!)
Copy all remaining dasmp.#? files from ENVARC: to
ENVARC:dasmp/ directory.
Create the directory you want to copy dasmp into.
Copy executable files to this directory.
Create "EPL" directory within this directory.
(example: "dh0:music/DASModPlayer/EPL/")
Copy wanted das#?.library files to the "EPL" directory. You can have
subdirectories there for libraries you don't want to have autoloaded.
If you performed the changes done to ENVARC: also to ENV: then
you can just run the DASMP, otherwise reset your computer.
Please when running DASMP first time, run it from WorkBench!
MUI hint:
Check that you have a directory called mui in your ENV and ENVARC
paths.
If you have problems, PLEASE!! read the documents before contacting me.
